Brighter Days’ Mission

is to enhance lives by optimizing the health of the skin, hair and nails during chemotherapy or radiation treatments.

Advances in cancer treatments have significantly improved the prognosis for many patients, but the negative side effects have largely been overlooked- and they deeply affect the patient’s quality of life. Brighter Days’ mission is to help improve the quality of life for chemotherapy and radiation patients by providing resources to help reduce the treatments’ effects on the skin, hair, and nails.

Inspired by a family member that lost a fifteen year battle to cancer, leading dermatologist Dr. Donald Richey created Brighter Days to lend his expertise, and provide much needed hope. The national program provides participants with valuable knowledge, individual consultations, and a healing support system.  In addition, all attendees receive useful products donated by beauty companies.

“It’s such a simple, loving program.”

“I’m grateful to be alive and I’m grateful for Brighter Days.”
